About Us

Our Story

Noteable Kids Arts Center is a female-founded, family-owned small business born out of a love for children and for the arts. With the vision of bringing the arts to the hearts and hands of children, Brenda Faatz offered her first Music Together® class in 2001. She and husband Peter Trimarco later expanded programming to include theatre classes for school-aged children. In 2019, they enthusiastically welcomed Jen Miller as co-director of the Music Together® program for our littlest of learners and the grownups who love them.

Noteable Kids has evolved over 25 years to where we are today - offering a robust school-year musical theatre program, summer theatre camps, and Music Together® classes throughout the year. While our programs have grown, our commitment to teaching and nourishing kids’ creative passion remains unchanged. We create fun, informal, and safe social settings that spur engagement and support each child’s social-emotional learning by meeting them where they are.

Jen is a Certified Music Together teacher and co-directs the program alongside Brenda. Originally from Cincinnati, Jen started on piano at 6 and picked up guitar at 15. She was inspired to study Music Therapy by her beloved grandfather, a jazz lover who later developed Alzheimer's. Jen was a vocal principal in college and holds a Bachelors of Music in Music Therapy from Ohio University. Drawn to older adults and the power of music to promote reminiscence and life-review, she spent the first half of her career as a Board Certified Music Therapist in end-of-life care in Denver. After having a family, she chose to work with people at the beginning of their lives and started teaching Music Together in 2019. Jen is a mom and stepmom who loves camping in the mountains with her family, writing music with friends, and snuggling her long, little doggy.
